NAME/FANDOM: Lucy Pevensie; Chronicles of Narnia (LWW, PC, VDT, HHB, LB) GENDER/AGE/YEAR PULLED FROM: Female; 17; 1949 BRIEF PROFILE: The youngest of the four Pevensie children, Lucy Pevensie is the first of the family to discover the world of Narnia through a wardrobe. There they learn they are destined to rule Narnia, a land under the enchantment of the White Witch, once they have helped defeat her with the help of Aslan. Aslan sacrifices himself to save Lucy's brother Edmund and Lucy is there when he dies, she and her sister Susan staying with his body until morning, when the discover he lives again because of the magic before the creation of Narnia. The four are crowned kings and queens after the defeat of the Witch and they rule Narnia for many years, right into adulthood, Lucy becoming known as Queen Lucy the Valiant, the one who fights in battles and other things that aren't exactly what 'proper ladies' do. Eventually they find themselves back in their own world where only a few minutes have passed, back to the ages they had been when entering Narnia.
Lucy returns to Narnia two more times. The first is with all her siblings and they find that although a year has passed for them, a thousand years has passed in Narnia. However, they have been summoned to help place a prince called Caspian on his rightful throne and this is what they do. She is the first to see Aslan and though the others do not right away, when she sees him the second time they follow her where Aslan leads her because of their knowledge of both her faith and how she has been right before. At the end of this adventure, Lucy learns Peter and Susan will never return to Narnia, but she and Edmund still may.
Her last time in Narnia is actually not in the country itself, but in the lands beyond it, some in Narnian control and others unknown to even she and Edmund. She, along with Edmund and her cousin Eustace, who is quite horrid at first but eventually changes, sail with Caspian in search of his father's lost comrades. Along the way, Lucy sees Aslan again on her own, hears his voice during a time of great trial and sees him once more in the land at the end of the world, where she learns she and Edmund are never to return to Narnia and must find Aslan in their own world.
Seven years pass between then and her next sight of anything Narnian, in the form of an apparition with a Narnian look about him that spurs the friends of Narnia, those who have been there before, with the exception of Susan who no longer believes, to find a way to send the youngest, Jill and Eustace, there to help. Lucy dies as a result of a railway accident in 1949 just a week after the seven see the "apparition" (who is actually the last king of Narnia named Tirian), just before the delivery of the means for the two to get to Narnia, sending her at last to Aslan's country, though for the purposes of the game she will be from the days just before the accident but after the sight of King Tirian. → [extended information]
